I don't need CSS

This is an ode to before.

A time when the HTML standard allowed you to style a webpage.
You were not burdened with adding a style sheet, and table layouts reigned supreme.
Now such whimsy disappears.

Others are warned away from this path:
ignore the deprecations at your own peril.

As browsers, with their march forward, leave behind such treasures things.
One day, dear visitor, you will visit this page and see
the colors gone and the blinking text stilled.

And a DVD logo that will never have the chance to hit the corner.

P.S. the bouncing logo is a <marquee> tag.
